Teaching Electricity

Join us for an engaging follow-up to our online Introduction to Electricity! This interactive session, led by Neal Gupta, is designed to elevate your expertise and teaching techniques related to the key stage 3 electricity curriculum. Here's what you can look forward to:

Enhancing Your Knowledge: Deepen your understanding of the fundamental concepts of electricity and refine your pedagogical strategies.
Addressing Student Misconceptions: Learn to identify and correct common misunderstandings that students have about electricity.
Exploring Models and Analogies: Discover effective ways to explain static electricity, current, voltage, and resistance using various models and analogies.

These sessions have been set up for teachers in the Sutton Coldfield hub and will be particularly useful for Early Career Teachers and non-specialists. Experienced teachers of physics are also very welcome, as are teachers not already in the hub.

Physics Partners are delighted to be offering a series of twilight workshops for teachers of Physics across Birmingham. There are three hubs, one in Walsall, one in Sutton Coldfield and another for the King Edward VI Foundation schools.
