Do you enjoy running the physics required practicals for GCSEs?

Do your students engage with them?

Do they work reliably and give good results?

Are they set within relevant contexts to explain the reasons for doing them?

We will run a session to help with these questions for the trickier required practicals. It will be a hands-on session where you can learn from other teachers and share your ideas for teaching the required practicals better.

The session will be at the UTC Portsmouth on Wednesday19th June, 4.00 - 5.30pm. Refreshments, and opportunity to network from 3.30pm.

The UTC is easily accessible from Portsmouth itself, and from schools to the West, North and East of the city. It has first-rate facilities and equipment. Teachers, trainee teachers, technicians and teaching assistants are all welcome.
