Transformers and the National Grid- Bedford Hub

This session for Bedford Physics Hub is led by Emma Smart, Physics Partners Coach and hosted by Bedford Girl's School, MK42 0BX.

Emma takes us into the summer term with an after school session on the tricky application of electromagnetism. Emma will tackle the key theoretical points, show how to maximise the impact of the transformer demonstration and make suggestions as to how the National Grid topic can be made to come alive. Finally, good practice when it comes to complex calculation questions will be discussed.

Parking is close by in the rush hour traffic but do come early to sample the choice selection of cakes always made available at our Physics Partner sessions.
