Teaching A-level: Radioactivity - Tower Hamlets KS5 Hub

Description

This in-person workshop on Teaching A-level: Radioactivity is led by Kevin Walsh, Physics Partners Coach and hosted by Morpeth School. Refreshments will be available.

This is a broad topic which involves looking at Nuclear and Particle Physics and brings in such diverse ideas as exponential decay and conservation laws. Experiments and demonstrations will feature, as will tackling some exam questions.

This workshop is delivered at no cost but places are limited.

This workshop is fully funded and delivered by Physics Partners. It forms part of the Tower Hamlets KS5 Physics Hub series of sessions for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists and early career teachers. Technicians are also welcome to attend.
