Teaching Magnetism and Electromagnetism at KS4
Join us for an engaging and interactive session led by Neal Gupta, Physics Partners Coach. The session is designed to elevate your expertise and teaching techniques related to the key stage 4 curriculum. Here's what you can look forward to:
Enhancing Your Knowledge: Deepen your understanding of the fundamental concepts of electricity and refine your pedagogical strategies.
Addressing Student Misconceptions: Learn to identify and correct common misunderstandings that students have about electricity.
Exploring Models and Analogies: Discover effective ways to explain static electricity, current, voltage, and resistance using various models and analogies.
Practical Applications: Gain insights into how to integrate hands-on experiments into your lessons and foster independent problem-solving skills in your students.
The session will be followed by a focus group at 5-6pm. This is a chance to share your thoughts on the Physics Partners Programme, how it’s supported you, and the impact it’s had on your pupils. Your feedback will play a key role in shaping how we grow and improve the programme.
Physics Partners are delighted to be offering a series of twilight workshops for teachers of Physics across Birmingham. There are three hubs, one in Walsall, one in Sutton Coldfield and another for the King Edward VI Foundation schools.
