Teaching Electromagnetism - Stoke-on-Trent Hub

Join us for the second of our in-person sessions led by Mike Melling, Physics Partners Coach on Teaching Electromagnetism and hosted by St Peter's CofE Academy, Fenton Manor, Stoke-on-Trent.

This session covers all aspects of electromagnetism from first principles in KS3, including how to make more of the electromagnetic investigation and how loudspeakers work via a 'make and take' of an easy loudspeaker experiment. We will also cover the electromagnetism section of Combined Science and will explore the Triple Physics Content and the best way of teaching this.

Expect plenty of cake, new ideas and chances for hands-on experimentation!

This session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners. The session is part of the Stoke-on-Trent Physics Hub series of twilight sessions for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists and early career teachers. Technicians are also welcome to attend.
