Description

This in-person workshop on Teaching Electromagnetism and the Motor Effect at KS3/4 is led by Kevin Walsh, Physics Partners Coach and hosted by Morpeth School. Refreshments will be available.

Electromagnetism is important when dealing with transformers and induction but whilst we will look at these, we will be concentrating on the Motor Effect. As usual, we will tackle exam questions and several experiments and demonstrations.

This workshop is delivered at no cost but places are limited.

This workshop is fully funded and delivered by Physics Partners. It forms part of the Tower Hamlets KS3/4 Physics Hub series of twilight sessions for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists and early career teachers. Technicians are also welcome to attend.
