Teaching Electric Current & Potential Difference: Stoke-on-Trent Hub

Join us for this in-person session on Teaching Electric Current & Potential Difference led by Mike Melling, Physics Partners Coach and hosted by The Discovery Academy, ST2 0GA.

This session covers simple circuits and the relationship between potential difference and current, and how best to teach these concepts. We will explore the idea of resistance and the required practical elements (including filament bulbs and diodes) and will also look at light dependent resistors and thermistors.

Expect plenty of cake, new ideas and chances for hands-on experimentation!

This session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners. The session is part of the Stoke-on-Trent Physics Hub series of twilight sessions for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists and early career teachers. Technicians are also welcome to attend.
