Description

Looking for a proven way to boost student engagement in STEM and Physics without adding hours of planning to your schedule? Interested in adding relevance and industry-related application to your Science curriculum?

We invite you to join us at Chiltern Academy for a practical, teacher-to-teacher workshop designed to show you exactly how to set up and run the F1 in Schools STEM Racing competition.

What We Will Cover:

1. The STEM Racing Competition & Technology Offer: A clear overview of the structure and the resources available to your school.

2. Curriculum Link: Mapping the club against subjects such as GCSE Physics, Engineering and Design & Technology.

3. Hands-On Engagement: A chance to test out the kit, ask technical questions, and see the equipment running live.

4. "What’s Next?": A straightforward, step-by-step roadmap to help you launch the program without the guesswork.

Expect plenty of cake, new ideas and chances for hands-on experimentation!

This session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners. The session is part of the Luton Physics Hub series of twilight sessions for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists and early career teachers. Technicians are also welcome to attend.
