Join us for this in-person session on Earth and Space led by Paul Hammond, Physics Partners Coach and hosted by Cardinal Newman Catholic School, Luton.

Teaching Earth and Space - We will look at a number of ways in which this topic can be approached from a practical perspective whilst cover key themes such as seasons, night and day and eclipses. The treatment of more-advanced syllabus items such as the life cycle of stars and red-shift will also be addressed.

Expect plenty of cake, new ideas and chances for hands-on experimentation!

This session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners. The session is part of the Luton Physics Hub series of twilight sessions for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists and early career teachers. Technicians are also welcome to attend.
