Teaching Capacitors at KS5
What are capacitors? How do they behave? Why are they useful and interesting? From a background in electrostatics, the session will lead into capacitors in current electricity and use demonstrations and questions to illustrate their behaviour.
This workshop is delivered at no cost but places are limited.
This workshop is fully funded and delivered by Physics Partners. It forms part of the Tower Hamlets KS5 Physics Hub series of sessions for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists and early career teachers. Technicians are also welcome to attend.
