This session for Bedford Physics Hub is led by Karl Stokes and Heather Pateman, Physics Partners Coach and hosted by Kempston Academy, MK42 7EB

This session looks at the essential elements of teaching Radioactivity, including practical options such as the use of radioactive sources as well as the ‘dice’ simulation of radioactive half lives. In a topic often dominated by content-laden PowerPoint slides, we will make imaginative suggestions about how to make this topic come alive as nuclear energy comes back onto the news agenda.

Parking is plentiful on this site but the high-spec cakes do tend to disappear very quickly so prompt attendance is encouraged if you don’t want to be left with the digestives.
