Visit to UEA's Engineering Hub - Norwich Physics Hub

Description

We are delighted to have been invited to visit UEA's Engineering hub, Productivity East. 

We will have a tour of the various manufacturing and lab suites, and should be able to program robots and have a play on some experimental apparatus. 

Tea and coffee will be available on arrival.

We also have the opportunity to pop and see the MRI department whilst we are at the UEA for anyone who is interested.

Spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.

The Norwich physics teacher hub is a meeting of physics teachers to share practice. It is useful for both new physics teachers, who are looking for some support and guidance around practical work and A-level teaching, and also more experienced physics teacher who are keen to share ideas. The theme of the next meeting is tbc. We will be looking at some of the practical set ups for A-level and GCSE and ideas for how to teach some of the trickier concepts.
