Description

This in-person GCSE Physics workshop 'Inspiring Critical Thinking Through Engaging Demonstrations and Practicals' will be led by Neal Gupta, from Physics Partners and hosted by Shirebrook Academy, NG20 8QF.

This workshop is designed to empower teachers with dynamic demonstrations that spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and promote meaningful classroom discussions. Each demo is carefully selected to align with GCSE Physics topics and can be easily adapted into a scheme of work or used as stand-alone activities to enrich lessons.

Participants will gain practical, hands-on experience with demonstrations that not only clarify complex concepts but also foster deeper student engagement. The workshop will highlight strategies for questioning and discussion to develop analytical skills in students, helping them connect theoretical knowledge to real-world applications.
