Description
The third of our Darlington Physics Partners Hub meetings led by experienced, local coach David Bailey and hosted by Haughton Academy, Salters Lane South, Darlington DL1 2AN.
In this session we will consider:
How to carry out the following investigations
Investigating how the resistance of a wire depends on its length.
Investigating resistance in series and parallel circuits.
Investigating the current and potential difference characteristics for a lamp, resistor and diode.
How to prepare pupils for success when carrying out investigations.
How to maximise the opportunity to develop important knowledge through investigative work
Expect plenty of cake, new ideas and chances for hands-on experimentation!
