Waves - Key Concepts and Practical Ideas - Luton Hub

Join us for this in-person session on Waves led by Paul Hammond, Physics Partners Coach and hosted by Putteridge High School, Luton.

This session will help teachers secure their understanding of waves as transmission of energy in light, sound and with other examples of the electromagnetic spectrum. Learn how to measure waves, calculate their speed and be able to demonstrate the ripple tank required practical with confidence.

Expect plenty of cake, new ideas and chances for hands-on experimentation!

This session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners. The session is part of the Luton Physics Hub series of twilight sessions for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists and early career teachers. Technicians are also welcome to attend.
